Besides the presence in the shows of Teatro delle Albe, Mandiaye N’Diaye had created, in Diol Kadd (his native village) and on the peripheries of Dakar, a project between agriculture, responsible tourism and theater that creates opportunities and a real alternative to emigration in Europe for young people, meanwhile maintaining strong ties with Ravenna and other parts of Italy. Diol Kadd has thus become “the theater citadel”, where to travel and study, and the project in Dakar, with international partners, has received a major European grant within the project N.A.T. Network for African Talents. Mandiaye N’Diaye has always worked between culture and cooperation, building these projects together and with the help of Ravenna Festival, the City of Ravenna, Emilia Romagna Region, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and clearly Teatro delle Albe / Ravenna Theatre.
