The association currently spends the majority of its energies to the orphans and the poor boys of the villages of the Merka area, with the aim of making them self-sufficient and able to become protagonists in the reconstruction process of their country. Over the years Solidea has given its contribution to the association for  teachers adoption initiatives, for the purchase of food produced by local farmers in order to supply the canteens of the primary schools in Merka region, for the creation of a school for basic health
